Scourge of Time docs:

Old Rom 2.4 Docs:

Note:  When ever the Scourge of Time docs contradict these, the S.O.T. docs take precedence!
Only some of the stats are available now for mobs and objects (see the S.O.T. docs at the bottom of this page).  In the meantime, if you are an experienced builder and want to start writing descriptions for areas, here are some we NEEEEED! :-)

  • connector areas
  • We will be adding new "newbie areas" soon, ask Scourge if interested

Thera areas (fantasy) - numbers below match the numbers on the map.

  • 1.  Elhaym village - small sea port of (mostly) good humans
  • 3.  Castle/city - capital of Takara kingdom, very large (neutral align.).  Wealthly inspite of desert location.
  • 4.  city - near Gardock capital, highest concentration of humans in the kingdom
  • 5.  town - medium sized town
  • 6.  city - city of desert giants, uneasy peace with Takara kingdom
  • 7.  city - excavation/mining town
  • 8.  port - trades with port on southern continent
  • 9.  port - northern fishing village

Haandorn areas (fantasy) - levels 101-201 - map now available

  • Any area where the min and max levels fall between 100 and 210 is fine right now
  • The map is now available, we can use connector areas, the terrian may be rearrange as people write more areas

Bradinor areas (fantasy) - levels 202+ Map now available

  • Capital of Soltari Kingdom - most advanced city in fantasy time period
  • A town like Midgaard that can be a hometown (has spells, armor, healer, guilds, etc.)
  • A port to trade with Thera #8
  • Two or more towns of any race, alignment, theme, size
  • I need to put up a map, but all climates are on this continent

Kavaria areas (fantasy) - level 401 Map now available

  • Legend 5 dungeon *
  • Legend 10 under water dungeon
  • Legend 15 dungeon
  • Legend 15 dungeon
  • Legend 15 dungeon

* dungeons (if you don't have your own idea about what to make a dungeon like, modeling it after a game like Zelda is fine) should be about 75-125 rooms, have at least 1 or 2 puzzles, and have a boss mob at the end, preceeded by two empty rooms (Scourge will fill these rooms in and add an object to the boss).

Areas for the Modern time period:

Here is a brief description of the world, this will help you decide what continent your area should go (levels are not restricted by continent in the future time period):

Haandorm is an industrial continent, kind of like the 1800s.  Many people still believe in and practice magic.  There are three countries divided by montains (one of which is almost all snow).  Thera is widely developed and is one country of three states.  It closely resembles US society (see Downtown Gimpville).  Eventually we'll write a highway system for this continent.  Magically research is being conducted by divisions of a strange corporation (Scourge Xanvor Industries).
The southern continent of Bradinor is rather primitave on the east side which is ironic since the civilation of Solari onced ruled here.  Lots of villages of people who want to escape technology and lots of ruins of a lost civilation.  The west is only explored by brave trappers who find strange beasts.  This is the land of animals.  Some Legend areas (mob levels 410-500) will probably end up here.  The Northwest continent of Kavaria that held remort in the fantasy time period is now the most advanced continent of all (Mega City is there).  S.X.I has their headquarters here (and rumor has it that they influence politics throughout the world from there).  They have mana reactors throughout the world.  An accident in one is what caused the time portal in Gimpville to form.

One last note:  there was a millenium between the fantasy and modern time periods that has been lost, writers are encouraged to include small bits of this lost history in their areas.
